Canupa

Belonging to the chain of Esara in Sneek and Gili Senang in Drachten, this is another fine shop with inviting atmosphere and interior with about 50+ comfy seats on two levels. Here they had a Wild West theme on. Also a kicker table. Same menu as in the two other shops. Another fountain on the ground floor but bright place in general again. Enjoyed the stay here, too! Probably my favourite place in town.

This shop is funky! When we were with our houseboat in Heerenveen, I looked, that park my boat near of this coffeeshop, cause here in Heerenveen it is possible: jump out the boat, the next street right and I was in the street with 3 coffeeshops: Dizzy Duck, Canupa and the Dikrayaat. It's one of the few coffeeshops with real good music (Hendrix, Grateful Dead, Stones, Purple) Here I bought a Bubble Gum and a Snow Ball, which were superb. This sorts are all killers and taste very sweet like honey; a must try! And the Canupa is the first shop I was, while I'm on my boattrip through Friesland, where I can buy space cakes! And they taste great, not only taste, the next 2 or 3 hours were funny and crazy, what a pity that I didn't buy much more! The staff is friendly and the guy behind the weedbar reminds me on John Cho from "Harold and Kumar"! He was very symphatic and helped me out in any way he can help me! Nice guy! I also get a present (space polyantor, papers and filter-tips) for buying 5 grams!
