Bright and relatively inviting looking place. Though with a boring menu with the usual suspects. Maybe another time.

The prices are pretty good, the weed isn't always great, (stay away from the "Power Plant") but they usually play good music.

I Like this shop especially on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays because then you get 5 euro free for each 12,50 euro and it's good stuff.

I was performing just around the corner at "Het Gooisch Podium," a fantastic little music cafe. I had already looked up "De Leeuw" on this site, but it was also the recommendation of the sound guy at the Gooisch, so off I went. A brown bar type of place, seating at the bar, other table seating, lots of plants, postcard molding across the tops of the walls, metal poster advertisements of old Dutch products hung about, ambient/trance music, friendly patrons, very good vibe. They had 5 wiet choices and 4 hasj choices on the menu. The prices were unreal in these smaller towns, 5 euro for a gram, 11 euro for 2.2 grams. I got the "Super Skunk" and it was amazing! A good tea selection, nice cappacinos, Chocomel, Looza, etc., but no booze. They also have a photo video game and this cool "Chicklet" gum machine. Right across the street from another shop called "Ri". Fun little town, a real Dutch experience, very cool.

De Leeuw is right next to the Riff. Not as relaxed but u get big bags all week long. As long as you ask for the "Aanbieding van de week". This is the weed they have most of so they give you more for less money. It's available all week long unlike at The Riff.
