Kruidentuin

The Kruidentuin is my favourite coffeeshop in Nijmegen so I happened to pop in beginning of May hoping to sample some of the Moroccan hash they're famous for but I was out of luck, guy behind the counter informed me it is now illegal for them to stock any Moroccan or imported hash or weed and all their stock now has to be grown and produced in the Netherlands. Having said that they still had quite a varied assortment of hash and weed and their Skywalker hash had me skywalking for a good few hours, still my favourite coffeeshop in Nijmegen and I have sent in their latest menu for May 2026.

I visited this coffeeshop on Friday 13 July 2012 in the evening about 9:30pm. Friendly, enjoyable atmosphere and quite busy. I stayed and had a smoke and watched the large TV screen. Music was great. I bought 10 euros of white widow. It was good. While sitting and drinking a cup of tea with my smoke, regular stream of people coming in to buy. Good selection of weeds. I thought the dealer was very friendly and helpful and like most Dutch, spoke very good English. I would certainly visit this coffeeshop again.

One of the best for hash all over Netherlands. Nougat and Chokolat are amazing! A must for all hash smokers!

Definitely has the best hash in Nijmegen. Buy and smoke the Choclat! It's unbelievable. In Ireland, hash is mostly crap and very expensive, so getting a hash of this quality for 10euro a gram was a real treat. The stone hits soo nice. Unreal taste too. I also got a gram of Twizla for about 7euros which was pretty great too. Def worth a try but next time I'm just getting 5 of the Choclat. Wicked.

This is the best coffeeshop for hash! You can find like 15 different kinds of hashes, all of them top quality. I will recommend Manali or Paki, as they are the best hashes I have ever tried. Don't underestimate the weed there though. They have ass kickin Shiva and Silver Haze there! The owners of the place are from Ketama and if you go there regularly they will start selling you a bit more than you are buying (for example you pay for a gram, and they give you 1.3). The music is mainly hip-hop, and the people that go and smoke there are friendly.
