Side-Walk

Stereotype Moroccan owned set-up here which e.g. pretty much reminded me of good old Rif (rest in peace!) in Tilburg; basically one dark room with a bar and a big enough smoking room separated behind glass. About 30-35 seats and a pool table in the middle of the room cramped in as I can imagine it can be crowdy there as was confirmed by locals I spoke to. Makes sense because it is the only shop opened on weekends and opened until 1AM. Bit rundown; not dirty at all but not clean either. Though atmosphere was nice enough and lots of young people around. Their menu seemed to be a rip-off judging by names offered: Super Silver Haze (13€/g), Amnesia Haze (11€/g), Blueberry (10,50€/g), Xj-13 (8€/g), Skywalker (9,5€/g), Death Star (9€/g), Grand Daddy Purple (10€?/g) and Knetter Mix(7€/g). Hash was making more sense: Traan van Twizla (12€/g), Super Sputnik (10€/g), Ketama Gold (8,5€/g) and Super Polm (6,5€/g). All weighed in front of you. Anyways, they weigh in front of you and very young Moroccan budtender praised their Xj-13 which looked quite bad in my opinion so I refused. Also saw another strain which didn't come across more appealing. Better stick to hashish here. Got recommended Super Sputnik and also went for the Traan van Twizla (funny name) which were more to my liking. Sputnik was a blondish cream and of good quality again, especially for the money; Twizla was a hard pressed sticky dark brownish Moroccan which remotely reminded me of that type of equally hard pressed Shoe Moroccan Grey Area and others in Amsterdam used to sell. Also nice! Spent most of my visit here and talked to lots of locals.
