Since it opens later than Relax we passed it on our way back. Glad we consumed before as despite the more varied menu compared to Relax, at least the hash didn't seem to be better though. Otherwise a bright enough shop. Bummer we didn't know about the garden here previous poster was mentioning as a bit in a hurry too but you can't have it all, right? Maybe worth a look for the grass if in town.

It's a very friendly coffeeshop with a cosy atmosphere and the option to sit in the garden while summer. There is also the possibility for playing billard or watching TV, and the coffee they serve there is really delicious. Guests: mixed, mostly people aged around 40, many of them are regular customers. Drugs: not the biggest choice (mostly three kinds of hash and of weed only, no space cake), but all they are offering there is in very high quality! And the prices are good, too! You just know that what you get is excellent. Meppel is considered being a little bit "countryside". That's true. Therefore coffeeshops here are very much more observed by the police than i.e. in Amsterdam. So rules are strict here - mobile telephones are not allowed in and around the coffeeshop, you'll get weed/hash only up to 25,- Euro and not more.
