Tattooshop

Quite sceptical about this one in advance. Entered the room and looked at all the familiar headshop stuff to the left including a sort of counter on the same side with a young girl from the staff greeting me. Then there was another area in the back of the shop where people indeed get inked. So almost sure at this point this was a waste of time when I looked to the right to find another counter and a wooden box where samples of all wiet and hasj are displayed. By the way I find such displayed buds behind glass or in a wooden box not that informative as they re often quite dried out and oxidised. I've seen hundreds of shops in this country but still learning never stops it seems; from the outside it looked like a random headshop with no hints at all. Even though everything when it comes to Dutch coffeeshops is quite predictable *lol*. They had two types of pre-packed bags available mostly, each 5 or 12€. About nine strains of wiet like Power Plant (5,5€) Amnesia, Thai, Outdoor or Bubble Gum and about four types of Moroccan hashish with Caramel (12€/g) as their best. Also one cheap Afghan and a Nepalese. Strangely they also offered Red Lebanon but only a bag for 25€ and it didn't look too tempting. If memory serves me right they sell truffeles as well! Went for Caramel and Power Plant on advice, latter one because 'it's the most they sell'. All in all nice enough quality even though not outstanding.

Very good quality at reasonable prices. Its pressed weed is a must!

A small shop near the harbour. There you can buy 3 sorts of weed and 3 sorts of hasj. It's cheaper than the Hofnar but when you are longer on Harlingen you'll decide for the Hofnar because you can't smoke in the tatooshop, because it is a tattooshop ;-)

If a coffeeshop is defined as selling cannabis products this then qualifies. Located near the ferry terminal on Harlingen's Noorderhaven, the Tattooshop advertises itself as a Tattooshop/Headshop. As one enters though, on the right there is a counter displaying cannabis products. We saw just a few strains of MJ (Jack, K-2, Redhair being what I remember as well as a few varieties of hasj). Pricing was good 5/6 E a gram. We sampled 1.9 G K2 for 11 and 1G Jack H for 5.50. Both good examples of strain. This is not a sit down, have a cuppa Joe, smoke your weed CS though, but you can get a tattoo, buy a bong, or take your goodies to the Islands.
