Willie Wortel's Indica

Very good Orange Bud (8e for grammo) good the PP Ice hash (20E per gram) this coffee shop is very beautiful, with the managers available and very nice.

Good place. Very nice and comfy. Spent a while in here. Willie's Choice, I believe.

A great shop with an even better menu to match - had a good offer at the time of getting some extra weed/hash when you spend €25, easily done in a place like this. The pollen was some of the best I have ever tried and the Lavender Haze possibly WAS the best weed I have ever smoked (at €9 per gram - this is one not to miss). An extremely friendly dealer stopped his conversation with his friend in order to spend 5mins or longer with my friend and I helping us get the best smoke for our money. The view from the front window is a picture in itself and the seats made you feel like you could spend the whole day lounging around. Top marks for this shop.

Though slightly smaller than the Wortel Sativa shop on Kruisweg, this one is still relatively spacious, and boasts a canal-side view - with snow falling outside when we visited! At the north-east of centrum, the orange ex-NS train seating here echoes the Sativa shop beside the station, and there is a good, amusing selection of kitsch ornaments, but much other signage within is from the now-closed Dutch Joint; we didn't think to ask why, perhaps it was the original Dutch Joint premises? Table football and Photoplay are the only amusements here, but the typically large Wortel selection of grass and hash is available, and there are two Internet computers. Though the tables are well lit, the rest of the shop isn't. Our female half hated the cappuccino here, and believes it came from a packet (!). Mine host when we visited was a lively soul who vaguely reminded our male half of UK chat show host Graham Norton, but don't let that put you off a visit if you're on this side of town.
