The Zoo

There is a counter in the entrance area and a separated smoking room with about thirty seats. Hash from the menu I remember were Super Pollen (8€/g), Puntjes (9€/g), Royal Maroc (10€/g), Special (11€/g) and Exclusiv (13€/g). There were about the same weedwise but only remember Gruis (5€/g) and S5 (13€/g) as their most expensive by the way. Took a look at their Special and Exclusiv and went for the more pricy one. This was nice Moroccan with foreign genetics and reminded me of certain batches of The Wall's best in Eindhoven in the last two years whatever that means though! Nice and especially tasty hash with a more stony effect that is for certain even though could be a couple of Euros cheaper.

The Zoo in Amersfoort is a friendly coffeeshop with a constant quality of goods. It is one of three coffeeshops from the same owner and is not too expensive. Me, being from another city, found a nice mellow atmosphere in this coffeeshop with friendly personnel. They also sell pre-rolled joints with high quality weed/hash. For me, good place.
