The New Balance

Have been here a couple of times now. Quality gear to be had here. Definitely the place to go in Zwolle. They have around 10+ strains of each hashish and weed, oldschool and newer strains. Good price performance ratio. Shop itself is quite basic and small, also hidden in a small alley not far from Het Binnenhof as other posters already pointed out. Both their wiet and hasj is qualitywise reasonable and good price/performance ratio. Prices for both are around the 5-12€ mark. Can't for the hell remember what was bought this time but think it was some decent Kush.

Everything on the menu is top quality. I've been there at least 10 times in the last 5 years and every time all strains on their huge menu were nice. One of the best CSs in NL I think. If you are a smoker in the small but very nice city of Zwolle, go there!

Ballance is one of the 'old' shops with a history. It has a very calm and chill feel to it, no loud booming music rather an chill mood is what I find there. Quality is excellent, this shop also offers lesser quality for lower cost but least that stoned! Selection is extensive.

One of the most gezellig coffeeshops in the NL that we've found in several years of exploring. Small, friendly, very arty in their decor. They sell in 5 Euro and up bags of such strains as Silver Pearl, Brabant, Triple Poison, Jack Flash, A5 Haze, Brabant and others that we weren't familiar with. The locals seemed to like the Skunk Mix. All that we sampled were of high quality. We visited several times over a 4 day stay in the area. Music is low volume as conversation takes precedence. Lively dartgames. Open until 22:00 on weekdays. Kinda tucked away between two grachts just across the bridge from the old town walls and near the Dijkstra parking area. Not well marked, on a small side street running perpendicular to the canals. Highly recommended if you find yourself in Zwolle.

One thing is for sure, if you want guaranteed quality visit the New Balance in Zwolle, if you don't know what to choose don't hesitate to ask they are always friendly and willing to help. Not the nicest shop to chill but the weed and hasj are supreme quality.
