De Blikken Deur

This medium sized shop offers about 25 seats including comfy seats and a kicker table and about four internet computers with costs. Also little snacks at the bar. Their menu had this on: Santa Maria, White Widow, Edelweiss, Haze, Silver Haze (12€), on the hash side it was Hia (8€), Diamant (9€) and Twisla (9€). Got recommended the Twisla and found it to be nice enough Moroccan resin. Also got a cup of tea for free as Epsilon here reported, too. Friendly young staff. While it wasn't a bad shop at all this one was the least impressive in this lovely little town of Deventer which is alone worth a day trip to explore.

Great selection at good prices. Very friendly service, really nicely furnished shop from inside and outside. This would be my first stop in Deventer.

Hands down the best coffeeshop in Deventer. The staff is very friendly unlike many other Deventer coffeeshops (The Shop cough cough). The location is comfortable but modern with lots of things to entertain a wayward traveller. It really looks like they have invested their money properly to keep up such a nice place. The weed is the best deal in town with all qualities fairly priced. The Silver Haze is out of this world, and I was warned to be careful with it ;) the Diamant Hashish I sampled was also very good. They even have a special discounted Saturday menu! Anyway, I don't mean to rant but if you are in Deventer, save your money and time and stop by the Blikken Deur. You will leave with a stupid grin on your face every time.

Located on Nieuwe Straat between the station/park and the Brink, and across the street from the forbidding looking Gilde Hotel (look for the greenish building) the Blikken Deur is spacious, comfy and friendly. With a hash-heavy menu and old standard weed types such as White Widow, Power Plant, Silver Haze. Buy a gram get a free cuppa Joe. The Puntjes hasj was the tastiest we sampled on our recent NL trip. They sell in 5 Euro lots (or more of course). Pool table, Internet computers, nice shop.
