Dr Pleasure

Were told there this shop changed hands about two months ago (silly name me thinks). Interior seemed to be old and run down, more of a take-away-place. Only a small room behind glass with about ten seats and a counter. Were informed they will have a go at all this soon and I think this place needs it badly. Young friendly guys on shift on the other hand were happy to recommend and show things from their menu. On the menu they had Haze (11€), Silver White Widow (9€), one strain I forgot (9€?), Bubble (11€) and Gruis (6,25/g or 25€/5g). Hashish: Maroc (5€), Ketama (7€), Caramel (8€) and Nugat (10€), all weighed up for you. Went for the Caramel and Nugat on recommendation. While Caramel was a nice all round hash with a nice stony body feeling and mellow yet euphoric up high with a smooth taste; the Nugat was a blondish lightly pressed Moroccan resin which you consider a very nice smoke when examining it closer. Tastes also quite nice and even though not as strong as Bull's best it was still my favourite smoke in this beautiful town. Looked at the proper looking and resinous Haze but went for the similar well appearing Bubble which did the job nicely. All in all hope that quality wasn't for promotion only but when they keep up this very good standard this is the place to go in Deventer for gear and if they get their shit together regarding interior they're worth a sit down as well, even though this is quite a small shop.
